- Make a list of everything you remember about him or her from your first date and include it in a card to them.
- Write them an honest to goodness love letter. Write about why you love them. How long you've loved them. Write about why and how you love them. All the little things they do that makes you blush or grin.
- Send them a surprise at work. Her favorite flowers, his favorite candy. Just keep it sweet but personalized.
- Go on a romantic picnic.
- Recreate your first date or if it sucked 'like mine did.' recreate a date that was really special for another reason. The date you shared your first kiss or the date he said I love you for the first time? The date you two did something totally undatelike that clued you in on the fact that you two were meant to be.
- If you to are not together for the big day send a care package and include a photo of yourself.
- Send them a valentine every day for a week leading up to V-day.
- Write a poem about them and tape it to the inside of the lid of a candy box.
- Leave little I love you notes all over the house.
- Take an evening away! Get a babysitter or take the cat to your sisters and take your love to a hotel for the night. Bring along some champagne an strawberries along or even some wine and dark chocolate.
Just remember whatever you do, do it because you love them and you want to show it not because you think you have too. As long as you focus on each other and think of them before acting you should have a great Valentines Day.
